Fire Breaks Out at AIIMS Trauma Centre in Delhi, No Injuries Reported

An incident involving a transformer caught fire Thursday afternoon at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Trauma Centre. No casualties were recorded in the event, according to the Delhi Fire Services (DFS).
When the fire was reported at 3:34 PM, eight fire tenders were sent to the scene right once. Eventually, firefighters were able to handle the situation and completely put out the transformer fire.
"As soon as we heard about a fire at the AIIMS Trauma Centre, we dispatched eight fire tenders to the scene. The fire has been properly extinguished and was contained to a transformer. Fortunately, there were no injuries, a DFS official stated.
Regarding the incident, AIIMS has not yet released an official statement.
On the same day, there was another fire reported in the AIIMS Delhi Teaching Block. The DFS claims that office records, a refrigerator, and furnishings on the second level of the Director's building were all harmed in the fire. There were also no recorded casualties in this episode.
The causes of the fires are being looked into by authorities.
